Tanka for Beginners (Instructor: Shizuka Omori) [City of Literature Okayama Participation Project].

Tanka is a Japanese poem of thirty-one syllables.
A workshop of Tanka will be held at Takamatsu Community Centre by Shizuka Omori, a Tanka poet from Takamatsu, Okayama City. 

Organiser hopes that people of all ages will learn how to write tanka, feel the charm of tanka and experience the richness of Japanese culture to enrich their daily lives.
