The Silent Book
Club, a trend in Cities of Literature around the world, is now being held in
Okayama.
The Silent Book
Club is a new style of book reading, proposed by Laura Gruhanich in San
Francisco. Participants bring their favorite books and read them in silence.
They do not give presentations or do not need to talk about how wonderful the
books are. They just sit down to read the books.
