Call for Applications!! ESD Okayama Award 2025

We are now accepting applications for the ESD Okayama Award 2025, which recognizes outstanding ESD (Education for Sustainable Development) initiatives anywhere in the world.  We look forward to receiving your applications!

The ESD Okayama Award has been held since 2015 under the joint sponsorship of Okayama City and the ESD Okayama Award Steering Board, with the aim of honoring excellent examples of ESD around the world, thereby supporting the activities of the award-winning project organizations and contributing to the spread of ESD activities.

ESD projects that have been implemented for more than 2 years by organizations anywhere in the world

One or two project(s) 

US $3,000 per project

※Applications will not be accepted after the application deadline.

One representative from the organization(s) implementing the awarded project(s) will be invited to attend the ESD Okayama Award 2025 Ceremony in Okayama, Japan and will be asked to make a presentation about the project.  The Award Ceremony, scheduled for 21 October 2025 (Tuesday), will be held in conjunction with the 14th Global RCE Conference in Okayama City (hosted by the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability, Okayama City, and the Okayama ESD Promotion Commission). 

After reviewing the Application Guide and Application Form (Draft) and preparing any additional materials or photos you wish to submit, please submit the Application Form online.

（1）Temporary Registration
At the “Temporary Registration” page （https://06fb9641.form.kintoneapp.com/public/temporary-registration別ウィンドウで開く）, register your organization's e-mail address.  You will receive automated email.

（2）Application Online
Apply by filling out the Application Form on the website provided in the automated email.
※Please use the Application Form (Draft).

（3）Temporary Acceptance
You will receive an automated email with an acceptance of your application.

（4） Completion of Application
You will receive an email from the secretariat upon completion of the application.
