Momotaro and his friends, as well as Ogre, are reading books together. I created this work to hope to become familiar with literary works, each of them would be able to face themselves, and that they would all enjoy literature and become good friends with each other. In the work, white peaches, muscats, and Pione-grape, which are local products, and the smiling sun, which symbolizes the sunny country, participated to create a gentle atmosphere. I hope this work will make people smile just like the sun.

With the theme of Okayama and literature, this work is inspired by "Momotaro" and children's literature works by Joji Tsubota "Fox and Grapes" and "Little Cat Hide and Seek." The books are drawn for foreign visitors to imagine literature, Momotaro and animals in Joji Tsubota's works. This work expresses our with to move forward to happy and bright future by Momotaro's jump out from opened book and the star above his head.
