INITIATIVES

Okayama City has implemented initiatives such as awards for children's stories and traditional Japanese literary creations to foster civic pride and interest in literature. The City and the Council hosted "The Okayama Literature Festival" held for 3 weeks. Stakeholders held programs connected to literature in various locations.
