Poohsan Library Workshop [the City of Literature Okayama Participation Project]

Poohsan Library hold a training programme for about 30 participants to promote reading for children (storytelling).

Librarians and other members gathered from areas in Okayama City.

Lecturer gave 90-minute lecture. Ms. Tsuzuki introduced 13 picture books and gave numerous pointers and tips for reading to the audience. 

It is essential for children in their early age to contact with books to make their growth. All participants left the meeting feeling enriched and hope to continue to create a reading environment for children through community interaction and communication.
