The 3rd City of Literature Okayama Promotion Committee Meeting in FY2023

The 3rd City of Literature Okayama Promotion Committee Meeting was held On November 16 2024.

The secretariat reported that UNESCO designated Okayama City as a memberof the Creative Cities Network in the field of Literature on October 31.Committee members had been working on various discussions and initiatives for the application.

Mr. Neki and Mr. Yamakawa also reported on the specific details of the “Okayama Literature Festival” to be held from February to March 2024.

The secretariat explained the plan for 2024.

The members of the committee said, “Being recognized as a UNESCO Creative City is a start. We have to work hard from now on.” The members of the committee expressed their enthusiasm for further efforts to be made in the future.
