The Machikura Book Trade

The book trade event was held at the Center Court of the Toiyacho Terrace in April.
Number of participants were about 390.

On Saturday, April 27,the book trade event was held with 72 groups, and 515 books were traded during the four-hour event.

It was also sunny day on Sunday, April 28, 57 groups participated  in, and 471 books were traded.

Families with children came to trade picture books and children's books, as well as adults came to trade novels and hobby books.

Organising Committee members received encouraging comments from participants, such as; “This is a good event and we hope it will continue,” and “Are there any plans for the next event?

It was especially heartwarming and moving to see the children earnestly selecting books and joyfully taking home with  the books they had chosen. 

A book trade was held at Prestige Joto with about 430 participants in March.

On Saturday, March 16, 78 groups participated and 467 books were traded during the 4-hour event.

It rained on Sunday, March 17. It was diffcult to conduct the book trade outdoors, so the event was held inside of Prestige Joto's Center House. 66 groups participated on the second day, and 372 books were traded.
