Gift of Songs, Stories and Music [City of Literature Creative City Okayama Affiliation Project].

Gift of Songs, Stories and Music was held on July2, 2023. About 160 people came to see the event.

In July 2019, Ohanashi no WA♪ published “Brothers Dog,” a picture book about the torrential rain disaster in western Japan. And the group created lyrics and performed a “song” based on children's written impressions of the book.

Chorus group “Utatane” sung the song.

The program of the day consisted of (1) a performance by the musicians, (2) a reading from the picture book, (3) a performance by the musicians, (4) a reading of book reports by children in Mabi area, (5) a reading from the picture book “Brothers Dog,” and (6) a presentation of the song “Ohayo, My Heart is Clear after Rain” from the “Brothers Dog.
