Okayama City has friendship exchange agreements with 6 cities (San Jose, San Jose, Plovdiv, Luoyang, Bucheon and Hsinchu) and two regions (Umatilla Indian Reservation Tribal Nations and Territory of Guam). And connections among the cities and areas promote mutual understanding and friendship through a wide range of cultural, sports, educational and other fields of exchange.
